Every thing about this visual speaks innovation, the balance of colors, the asymmeterical bold zip and the functionality of it all is brilliant.  I find it safe to say the shape of neck was inspired by late 15th Century royalty, which was when the development of the ruff was in play.  Anne of Austria 1571
